Shubho Mahalaya to all our members and their family.
Maa has now started her journey, this year she will bring with her a few showers but we will all be there to welcome her and make this journey of hers a memorable one like always!!
We are trying to make provision to keep ourselves as dry as possible and at the same time enjoy every moment of pujo this year. All our volunteers have been working very hard to make pujo as entertaining as ever.
Starting of with Anondomala-- we have 13 stalls this year with all home made Bengali delicacies. On the other two days there will be saree, goyna, toy stalls, jumping castle for the children and their favorite Ice cream uncle there as well.
The BANSW Snack Stall will be there as well dishing out gorom gorom shingara, kochuri and alloor dum, moori makha, misthi, paan and many more items as nibbles and drinks. Please bring enough cash along with you to buys snacks so that you dont miss out.
Added to all the food, we have organised lots of entertainment as well in the morning singing, dancing, skits, ulu competition, shonkho competition, drawing on the spot for children in the morning and dhamaka entertainment Saturday evening after shondhi pujo.
We will need your help and cooperation during prosad and bhog distribution to manage the brishti and crowd. Hope we will be able to manage this seamlessly during pujo.
During Pujo we will be selling tickets for BIJOYA-as you know we have Shagnik Sen will be here to make our bijoya function entertaining and jom jomate.
We have kept the tickets on a deal-for Current financial Members it is $20 and for Non Members $30. The price is including Dinner. This was done to give our members a benefit, hence if you happen to buy tickets for your friends who are non members please ensure that you buy it for $30. If you have parents here for the function we will extend the member deal to them as well but not for aunts , brothers, sisters etc.
Hope we will be able follow this for BANSW and its members. If you have any questions do let any of the committee members know.
Looking forward to seeing you all. Attached is the map for Parking that is available near school as the parking in the front gets full very quickly.
And please remember we have lots of guests who are not our members who attend BANSW pujo, please welcome them and involve them in our festivities. Ensure they get prosad and are looked after.
