Pujo- yes pujo is nearly here, our largest and the much awaited festival is not very far away and like last year we would love to reach out to our community for participation in making this an enjoyable and inclusive Pujo for both long standing members and new members. We are wanting our many new members to come and join us in the preparation leading up to our Pujo .
Plan is to set up small groups who will assume responsibility. There will be senior members who have years of experience to help and guide us as they have in the past. Teams for example : naroo making team , vegetable cutting team, fruit cutting team etc..We will have a list of teams ready for executing these activities. Form a team with friends or join in and make new friends. This is our community Pujo and we want you to be part of it . Attached is a TO-DO-LIST. Please have a look.
We have booked Pennant hills community centre to brainstorm and gather new ideas. We can then register names of volunteers and put together teams which we feel will enable us to run Pujo smoothly, safely and effectively.
Please do come and participate and make a difference. Your involvement will be much appreciated.

Time has arrived once more which we all eagerly look for - our very own Durga Pujo which is an eternal festival for all Bengalis. And so is the time to showcase the hidden talent in each of you!
“Hide not your talents, they for use were made,
What's a sundial in the shade?”
- Benjamin Franklin
Like every year, we look ahead to you sharing your stories, poems, art, cuisines from your kitchen, photographs, articles. All are welcome to share their own master piece for our BANSW Annual Probashi magazine. Please start collating all your items and share the same at the earliest since the last date for receiving is 31/Aug/2018. Please be mindful about this date as there won't be any exception to it. Also, please make sure that the Bengali articles should be typed in Bengali and not hand-written.
